Al-Marsad newspaper: The former imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Adel Al-Kalbani, posted a picture on his personal account on the “Twitter” website of a plate of popcorn.
“Al-Kalbani” commented on the photo sarcastically: “Oh, his shame, the imam of the Haram, and he eats popcorn!!!!”.
Social media activists circulated a video clip of “Al-Kalbani” riding a Harley bike, which caused a sensation and criticism of the former Imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, who appeared in jeans.
As a result, Al-Kalbani published a previous tweet in which he said: “Eat and drink what you love from what God has permitted, ride a horse, a donkey, a camel, or a tank and wear whatever you want, and do not try to please people, they will never be satisfied, even if the camel goes into the tailor’s poison!”
And the new picture published by “Al-Kalbani” is directed at his critics, as he mocked them, considering that he had the right to eat “popcorn” like others, as well as with regard to wearing clothes or riding bicycles.
