Today’s edition starts with the first match of the evening.
1. Match
(Non-Title) Singles Match
Jax Dane defeated Anthony Andrews via a lariat pin.
Match time: 05:18
After the match, Dane has a brief staredown with commentators Joe Galli, Tim Storm and Velvet Sky before exiting the arena.
Shortly thereafter, the commentators greet the audience and hype today’s main event.
Kyle Davis is now interviewing Nick Aldis. The Brit talks about having had the privilege of representing the NWA for the past 5 years. Aldis praises the promotion and says he used all his strength to make former NWA World Heavyweight Champions proud. In the end, he wants to get the NWA back in the conversation with fans. He says the NWA’s roster is big and there are few people who are the whole package like him. Aldis says many people who get more TV time than him kiss NWA President William Corgan’s butt. Finally, Aldis says he will one day repeat the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Backstage, “Magic” Jake Dumas is interviewed by May Valentine. Dumas says he brings in money when he performs. Valentine asks him about his relationship with CJ. Dumas replies that nobody cares. Valentine then asks CJ, who speaks to Valentine in Portuguese. An annoyed Dumas leaves the scene while Valentine thanks CJ.
2. Match
Singles Match
Jennacide defeated Angelina Love via count out.
Match time: 02:09
– Love was fed up with Jennacide’s power moves and wanted a break. Her friend Velvet Sky tried to encourage her, but Love refrained from getting back in the ring.
As soon as the match is over, Kyle Davis is hit by Rolando Perez and Rush. Perez issues a challenge to NWA World Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch for a feud with his little brother. Davis asks Perez, who is significantly shorter than his brother, if he is crazy. Perez agrees.
Backstage is May Valentine’s next interview with PJ and Luke Hawx. Luke promises he’ll be back in the hunt for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship soon. However, he first wants revenge on Colby Corino, since Steve Corino’s son attacked Luke’s son PJ.
A video of Jamie Stanley’s “Stanley’s Drill” follows. He welcomes Mercurio as a guest. Basically, Stanley wants to embarrass his counterpart with his questions, but Mercurio turns the tables and makes fun of Stanley several times.
May Valentine now has another interview with NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille. She gets upset with KiLynn King, who calls herself Kamille’s “gatekeeper”. Kamille says she doesn’t need help and has held the title for over a year. This will not change either.
3. Match
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship
Singles Match
Homicide (c) defeated VSK via pin after a second-rope Koji cutter.
Match time: 07:53
The show ends with a victorious Homicide.
