While the RTX 40 series is expected to be announced at the GTC event in September, some unreleased model information among the RTX 30 series was captured in photos. The confirmed models are the RTX 3090 Super model and the MSI VENTUS RTX 3080 20GB model.
In the case of the RTX 3090 Super, it has been confirmed that the black frame design is different from the general RTX 3090FE series. It is analyzed that it was trying to respond by applying the same concept design as AMD’s RX 6X50 XT series.
However, the actual product was not released, but as it was confirmed that it has the same specifications as the RTX 3090Ti on GPU-Z, it is interpreted that NVIDIA changed the name to RTX 3090Ti at the time of official release and released it.
In addition, the 20GB OC model mentioned as a rumor among the RTX 3080 series was also captured. Separate specifications such as GPU-Z have not been confirmed, but it is analyzed that NVIDIA actually prepared the RTX 3080 20GB model as the naming of GA102-250-KD VENTUS 3X 20G OC was mentioned.
Of course, neither model was released to the real market. However, it is judged that it is true that NVIDIA prepared a detailed GPU lineup with some differentiation in GPU specifications.
Meanwhile, the RTX 40 series is expected to improve performance up to 2 times compared to the existing RTX 30 series, and there have been rumors that the RTX 4070 will have the same performance as the RTX 3090Ti.
