Scientists have confirmed that nutritional supplements significantly increase flu symptoms.

Pharmacologists at the University of Michigan conducted a scientific study and found that the addition of tert-butylhydroquinone can affect the body’s fight once morest inflammation.

Harmful effect

So far, the victims of a scientific experiment have been experimental mice, which, following taking a nutritional supplement, increased flu symptoms – fever, heart rate and tissue damage. Even the flu vaccine didn’t help.

The problem of treating influenza and its consequences, scientists became concerned following the figures announced by statistics: every year up to 700 thousand people around the world die due to respiratory problems caused by influenza.

Immune cells are at risk

According to nutritionist Viktor Mikheev, some foods contain the food additive tert-butylhydroquinone, which can suppress the function of various immune cells.

This was confirmed by an experiment with mice that consumed a diet enriched with tert-butylhydroquinone. The leading hypothesis was that the dietary supplement might cause the negative effects by releasing certain immune-compromising proteins. Therefore, repeated infections are treated worse.
