The new WWF campaign aims to open our eyes to how catastrophic the environmental impact of us humans on nature is.
In fact, while the natural habitat is being destroyed, wild animals tend to get closer and closer to urban centres, moving into areas inhabited by man.
La campagna di WWF, Roomies from the Wild
Wild roommates. Thus we might translate the name of the WWF Hungary campaign “Roomies from the Wild” into Italian, in which the organization presents itself to us with a clear, albeit obviously ironic, question: if forests and other animal habitats disappeared, would we be willing to bring wildlife into our homes?
The graphical representation of the Key Visuals clearly shows how the choice would not be ideal for anyone (ie terrible for us and for animals). The goal is therefore to collect donations to WWF to help protect natural habitats.
The campaign has already achieved good success, above all thanks to the sharing of the video and images on social networks.
Meanwhile, just in related Facebook groups, animals looking for accommodation have “come to life” looking for a home: mother boar warned that her cubs are a bit rude, while the lynx swore she would not eat her roommates.
Some animals have found refuge in the homes of influencers and others in newsrooms.
