TRI Retno Prayudati or better known as Nunung Srimulat suddenly gave the news that she would undergo surgery today, Friday (30/8).
She conveyed this through an upload on her official Instagram account. In her photo upload, Nunung also wrote that she asked for prayers so that the operation she would undergo would run smoothly.
“Pray that the operation goes smoothly, Dad! Amen,” wrote Nunung Srimulat in her upload.
It can be seen that Nunung’s wrist has also been given a name tag from the hospital. In addition, in the photo, Nunung’s hand is seen being held by her husband, Iyan Sambiran.
Nunung Srimulat’s post was also replied to by Iyan Sambiran who also prayed for the smooth running of his wife’s operation.
“Aamiin ya rabbal alamin. Ready my soulmate. God willing, it will go smoothly. Reassure your heart, dear, that you are under the protection of Allah SWT. Because Allah knows best what we will do (eye surgery), is All-Powerful to lift all illnesses, is All-Gracious (healthy grace) and All-Merciful… So… be patient & pray, dear,” replied Iyan Sambiran on Nunung’s photo upload.

Previously, Nunung Srimulat had poured out her heart about her illness and extended family. She told it all when she was a guest star on Wendi Cagur’s podcast.
In his podcast, Wendi Cagur sees Nunung Srimulat as a very strong person even though she is broken inside.

“Sometimes I become someone like me, especially when I had cancer yesterday, and now I can’t see in my right eye and I don’t have to have surgery, so I become like a really weak crybaby, maybe because of my age too,” said Nunung as quoted from YouTube Wendi Cagur.
In fact, Nunung said her husband had said that she was a strong person and rarely shed tears. But now Nunung Srimulat looks vulnerable.
According to him, he was sad because none of his family informed him, advised him or paid attention to him when he was sick.

However, Nunung said, Iyan had advised him to tell his children and family about what his wife was suffering from.
“No need to tell them, they should know for themselves. None of my family asked about me,” Nunung said firmly.
In fact, Nunung’s disappointment with her extended family to the point that she blocked them all. Even though according to her, she always provided communication and attention to her family.
But his attention did not turn from the family to Nunung. Therefore he was very upset about it.
“I was so annoyed that I blocked all my extended family. Maybe I was annoyed,” he explained.
