Nunez transfer paves the way for Bayern Munich

According to current media reports, Liverpool FC has sealed the transfer of Darwin Nunez. The Uruguayan’s move to Anfield might pave the way for a Mane transfer to Bayern Munich.

Nunez’s move to Liverpool is on the home straight. The 22-year-old forward is said to be due for a medical on Monday and to sign a six-year deal with the Reds. Liverpool and Benfica have already agreed a deal.

Rumor has it that Uruguay will cost almost 100 million euros, making it the most expensive transfer in the history of the LFC. The Nunez transfer is also good for Bayern.

Nunez is set to succeed Sadio Mane

The signing of Nunez has opened the door wide for a Mane departure in the summer. The Uruguayan international has been signed as Mane’s successor. Like transfer insiders, those responsible in Liverpool will now try to speed up the move to Bayern – also because they are dependent on the transfer proceeds.

Mane has already made his decision and only wants to switch to the German record champions in the summer and has already deposited this wish internally at Liverpool. Talks between the two clubs are already in full swing. Even if the English have already rejected two offers from Bayern, both sides expect that the transfer will be completed in a timely manner.

According to reports, Liverpool is demanding almost 45 million euros. Bayern recently offered 35 million euros, but are willing to improve their offer once more.
