“Numbers and letters”. The touching words of Laurent Romejko to his ex-comrades.

It was time this Saturday, September 17 to discover the program “Numbers and letters” without Bertrand Renard and Arielle Boulin-Prat. The two pillars of the game were ousted by France Télévisions. But the host Laurent Romejko wanted to address a few words to his former colleagues, who might not take leave of the viewers.

The case caused a stir: the collaboration between France Télévisions and Arielle Boulin-Prat and Bertrand Renard ended badly. Returning to this eviction, the word specialist confided in Gala to be appalled “not to be able to say goodbye to the viewers”.

It is indeed without transition that the program welcomed this Saturday two new referees: Stéphane Crosnier and Blandine Maire. The first is a former candidate and champion of the game, the second is a teacher. A change of heads which was also an opportunity to introduce some new rules in the game, without, however, any major upheaval.

But, at the start of the program, Laurent Romejko, visibly moved, wanted to send a message to his two former acolytes. Not without welcoming the replacements for Arielle and Bertrand, the host immediately continued by addressing the viewers.

“I have a lot of affection for them”

“Right here for decades, Arielle and Bertrand have brought that little daily dose of knowledge, always unpretentious, but also those arithmetic and spelling tricks that have helped most of you grow over the years and to learn. Above all, they brought this collective good humor to the set and this mischief that there was between us”, he declared.

Laurent Romejko underlined that his ex-colleagues had contributed to the exceptional longevity of the show. “You understood, I have a lot of affection for them and I am not the only one, since several generations of the large family of numbers and letters thank you, my friends Arielle and Bertrand”, he continued. , before applauding in front of the camera.

Let’s hope that the two former experts, now on the other side of the post, have heard the touching message from their comrade. After this tribute, the game resumed its rights. The page is now turned.
