In August this year, Latam recorded a 9.7% growth in its volume of domestic passengers in Brazil compared to the same period in 2022, reaching the mark of 3 million passengers compared to 2.7 million in August last year.

This is what the company’s most recent operational data indicates, which has become more efficient and competitive following the Covid-19 pandemic and has grown sustainably. In total, Latam has opened 11 new destinations in Brazil since 2021.

According to Aline Mafra, Director of Sales and Marketing at Latam Brasil, “the results reflect Latam’s efforts and investments to ensure that more and more Brazilians can fly. We are a much more competitive airline today and this leads to sustainable investments, where there is potential demand.” In August of this year, Latam in Brazil achieved a 4% growth in its domestic passenger demand measured in Passenger-Kilometers Transported and increased its domestic supply of seats measured in Seat-Kilometers Offered by 1.7% compared to August 2022.
