Nuits de Fourvière 2023: Rock, Rap, and French Song Lineup Announced

2023-12-05 10:35:00

Less than six months before the next edition of Nuits de Fourvière, the organizers have just announced the names of four artists who will perform on the stage of the Grand Théâtre next June and July.

Tickets for these four concerts will go on sale for three days, from December 12 to 14.

Rock, rap, French song

So, who will grace the Fourvière stage next summer? The program already promises to be eclectic, nothing surprising since it is the hallmark of the Lyon festival.

First date announced: the Australian group King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will share the stage with Amyl and the Sniffers, a rock group from the same country, on Monday June 3.

On Friday June 14, it will be the turn of an icon of French song to grace the Grand Théâtre, in the person of Véronique Sanson, who came to Lyon last March.

Rapper Dinos will follow on Saturday July 6, then it will be Patti Smith’s turn on Tuesday July 16. The American rock troublemaker will perform with her musicians, two years following her last visit to Fourvière.

Ticketing for these concerts will be open from Tuesday December 12 at 11 a.m. to Thursday December 14 at 5 p.m. on the Nuits online sales site.
