Nuevo León adds 1,110 cases of Covid so far in 2024 – Los Tubos

After seven consecutive weeks with the cases covid-19 downwards, the state of Nuevo Leon It went from 9 infections detected in week 36 of the current year to 11 in week 37; reported MILLENNIUM.

With which the downward trend that the entity had maintained since the week 30 of the year 2024after the highest number of covid-19 cases during the current year was reported in the entity in week 29 with 141.

Less than a thousand cases compared to 2023

From there, the number of cases went from 141 in week 29 to 130 in week 30, to 117 in week 31, to 43 in week 32, to 37 in week 33, to 15 in week 34, to 13 in week 35 and 9 in week 36.

Therefore, at the end of week 37, Nuevo León has a cumulative number of positive cases for covid-19 of 1,110, according to the Epidemiological Bulletin carried out by the General Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health at the federal level.

While that week in 2023 there was a sum in the state of 2 thousand 14 cases of covid-19 confirmed.

Cases drop 44.8 percent compared to 2023

In this way, in the year 2024 there will be a decrease in positive cases for covid-19, in relation to the year 2023, of 44.88 percent.

It is worth mentioning that with respect to the total number of cases in the current year, the federal authority states that 727 of the 1,110 cases, 65.5 percent were in women, and 383, or 34.5 percent, were in men.

To date, in the year 2024, only in three weeks have we exceeded one hundred covid cases per week, after 141 in week 29, 130 in week 30 and 117 in week 31.

Mexico exceeds 13 thousand cases so far this year

According to the authority’s statistics, by week 37 of the year 2024 there will be more in Mexico 13,531 cases of covid-19.

As of that week in 2023, there was a cumulative total of 17,938 cases in the country, that is, at the national level this year there is a reduction in cases caused by this disease of 24.57 percent.
