The Ñuble CrossFit family continues to train hard to shine in various national tournaments and tests, which confirm that this discipline continues to rise like wildfire.
This was reflected by 40 exponents from the Ñuble Region, who gathered in the commune of Victoria over the weekend to compete in the demanding “Amphibious Challenge.”
Of this delegation, 17 train at the Newen Training Center in Chillán Viejo and six of them stood on the winners’ podium.

In the category, master + 35, Marcelo de la Fuente obtained first place.
In the basic men’s category, Matías Chacón obtained fourth place.
In the basic women’s series, Aline Henríquez, Javiera Donoso, Carmen Alarcón, María Ignacia San Martín, Valentina Muñoz and Katherine Manriquez competed, the latter obtaining second place.
In the men’s intermediate category, Jordan Muñoz obtained third place.
In the intermediate women category, Paz Clavería took first place, while Fernanda Muñoz Clavería, just 12 years old, showed all her potential in her first competition in the Teens Women category (-18 years old).
The competitor of the basic men’s series, Matías Chacón valued the support that the municipality of Chillán Viejo has given to the Newen Training Center, providing the facilities of the municipal pool, so that the athletes could prepare for this competition.
