East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga revealed that Inspector Rudy Soik was caught in a sting operation (OTT) during official hours at a karaoke place. This was conveyed during the Hearing Meeting (RDP) at Commission III which investigated Rudy’s dishonorable dismissal.
“Because there was information that at that time stated that there were members of the National Police who were carrying out karaoke during official hours, Propam carried out OTT actions and 4 members of the National Police were found,” said Daniel in the DPR Commission III Meeting Room, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday. (28/10)
The four members include the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Kupang Police, Yohanes Suhardi and Rudy. Then, two policewomen, namely Ipda Lusi and Brigadier Jane N.

According to him, Rudy and his colleagues were caught sitting together in pairs. They also drank alcoholic drinks at the karoke place.
“So regarding this incident, the Head of Propam reported to the Regional Police Chief with specific information, so I disposed of it for legal proceedings,” said Daniel.
Daniel said that the NTT Regional Police Propam carried out a code of ethics trial. After inspection and filing, he said, the three police officers received punishment, while Rudy did not.
“Three people were sentenced and accepted, but 1 person, named Ipda Rudi Soik, did not accept it, objected and asked for an appeal,” said Daniel.
Rudy is a member of the Bhayangkara Corps who has handled human trafficking cases in Kupang. Then, he was dishonorably fired (PTDH) after violating the code of ethics in the alleged investigation into the fuel oil (BBM) mafia case in Kupang. Then, he had an audience with Commission III of the DPR. (P-5)
