“Nt7arko w Nktachfo” by MDJS, the first “Sport & Knowledge” application in Morocco received the “Gold Award” for the best “Phygital Campaign” during the African Digital Summit, which was held on March 2 and 3, 2023 in Casablanca.
This prize rewards the ability of a brand to deploy a campaign on several channels both digital, traditional media and in point of sale, indicates the Moroccan Games and Sports in a press release.
Launched in September 2021 by the MDJS, “Nt7arko w Nktachf” is a unique device that allows the general public to explore, through the Nt7arko application, 10 cultural and tourist routes in 7 Moroccan cities. “They allow you to discover the architectural gems, museums, heritage sites, history and monuments of each city on one condition: to move!”, underlines the press release.
The user is indeed invited to walk, run or pedal to follow the GPS route contained in the application. Each circuit consists of an average of 10 stopovers which allow, through an audio description, to discover the history and the aesthetic or cultural interest of each site.
The launch of the mobile application was accompanied by a multi-media communication campaign, and in particular a television program, broadcast every Tuesday and Thursday on 2M. Hicham Masrar, brand ambassador, experiments with the 10 circuits offered on the application. From Tangier to Essaouira, via Casablanca, Meknes, Volubilis, Marrakech and Rabat, the application offers a real journey rich in learning, discovery and emotions.
“We are delighted with this distinction. Nt7arko w Nktachfo is a program that is particularly close to our hearts”, explains Khadija Boudali, Marketing and Communication Director of the MDJS.
“Our cities are full of historical, cultural and heritage sites. But to discover them and appreciate them at their fair value, you often have to walk, approach them, take the time to contemplate and understand. The Nt7arko w Nktachfo application responds to these two ambitions: to move and to discover” she said.
Other seasons of the program as well as updates of the application are planned in 2023 to offer more circuits in other Moroccan cities and regions, reveals the press release.
