Now Leon and his mother talk about Jimmy Fallon’s crazy rescue – Cinema & TV

Only 24 hours have passed since

shared his story “Lost in Bavaria” on social media – and Leon and his mother, Fallon’s rescuer, are now internationally known. News5 visited the two on Sunday.

They are beaming as they review the events of the previous day. Suddenly, US talk show host Jimmy Fallon is standing at their workshop. The reason: he got lost. The mother herself would never have recognized him, didn’t know who Jimmy Fallon was. Unlike Leon. The megastar wasn’t angry about it, he actually found it funny, Leon says.

Leon: “It was a really fun trip”

“And when he took the selfies with me, he asked: Yes, maybe you could drive me back to the hotel now so that I don’t have to walk across all these meadows before I get back. And I said: Sure, no problem, come with me quickly. I’ll let my parents know. We quickly jumped into my mother’s car. He was really excited about the car, the old Golf 1. And then we turned the radio on and a few 80s songs came on, and it was a really fun drive, just like you know from TV,” says the 22-year-old.

Jimmy Fallon posted a video on social media on Friday evening in which he said he got lost in Bavaria. The video quickly went viral and now has over 8 million views.

Fallon got lost in Bavaria

Fallon says that it took him an hour and 40 minutes to get to the hotel. His cell phone had five percent battery and he didn’t have a map in his luggage. His attempt to hitchhike also failed. But then he found a garage and met Leon. And that’s how Jimmy Fallon fell in love with Bavaria.

At the end of the video, he even invited them both to the “Tonight Show” in New York. An invitation that they will gladly accept.
