At the event Minecraft Live Mojang has revealed some key details regarding the upcoming 1.20 update for their mega-popular game, as well as the planned release window.
In keeping with a long tradition, we didn’t know the name of the update or the full list of innovations, but the studio did say something that excited fans.
The developer has indeed revealed some new features, including seven new skins alongside the classic Steve. In addition, a chic new bamboo building material will be added to the game, complemented by interesting window designs and fun signage.
One of the key innovations that fans are interested in is that Minecraft will now officially have riding camels, which, unlike horses, can swim across rivers. Camels can also be ridden by two players at the same time, allowing friends to ride.
Another major announcement concerned Minecraft Legends, a rather intriguing real-time strategy game that Mojang also makes. This game is expected to be released in spring 2023 as an update to the main project and will allow gamers to explore a huge procedurally generated world, summon monsters and send them into battle.
