Not to film Chen Ju’s era drama, Public Television clarifies: it is the love story of former legislator Dai Zhenyao and his wife

Recently, it has been reported that the Taiwanese TV station will be filming a period drama with the director of supervision Chen Ju as the main focus. The Public Television Foundation issued a statement today saying that there is no such thing. The love story of Legislator Dai Zhenyao and his wife is the main axis.

The Public Television Foundation pointed out that the Public Television Taiwan Language Channel plans to film “Saltwater Hotel”, which is the story of the late former legislator “Yao Bo” Dai Zhenyao. “Saltwater Hotel” is a story of revolutionary youth in which the late farmer legislator Yao Bo, who was a CNPC worker, witnessed and participated in the struggle in Qiaotou, Kaohsiung, and then in Taiwan.

According to the Public Television Foundation, the main focus is the love story of Dai Zhenyao and his wife, and the brotherhood they grew up together. The whole play has six episodes, the production cost is NT$54 million, and the roles of the actors are undecided. It is written and directed by director Zheng Wentang. It is expected to be broadcast next year.
