Yesterday, Monday, the security services managed to arrest the heroes of the “fake video” that was circulated on social media, in which a group of people claiming to be policemen appeared.
Among the heroes of the video is “Ahmed El-Desouky”, who was responsible for paying the rest of the actors participating with him in the videos that are filmed and published on social media platforms, so who is “Ahmed El-Desouky”?
“Ahmed El Desouky” is an Egyptian actor and content creator, who has participated in more than one television work during the last period. Besides his interest in creating videos on YouTube.
El-Desouky is a visual content creator who has participated in the creation of many video clips that have gained widespread popularity on the social networking platform “Facebook”.
El-Desouky also used to act on the social networking site “Tik Tok”, and shoot fabricated short films in which he, with others, assume the roles of policemen, in order to achieve a financial return by increasing viewership, as he filmed more than one video as a “detective”.
Those clips that El-Desouki was promoting were the reason why he fell into the hands of the security forces following he offended the security services in the clips he was broadcasting.
After his arrest, El-Desouky said that he had filmed a series of videos with the rest of the defendants who were with him, to achieve the highest rate of views of the videos they were filming, and then increase the profits and return from them.
The accused added in a video posted on the official page of the Ministry of Interior, that he was giving his partners from 200 to 400 pounds as a return for filming those videos, given that one video was making a profit from 100 to 200 dollars.
He indicated that he did not expect these videos to provoke public opinion through social networking sites, and they were not intended to provoke the pioneers of social networking sites.
The security services succeeded in identifying and arresting those responsible for preparing the video clip, 5 people, and one of them was in possession of a “audio drum, a wireless communication device from the user of private companies.”
Confronting them, they admitted that the aforementioned video clip was fabricated, and that it was a representative scene that was broadcast on the communication sites in order to achieve a financial return by increasing the viewership rate.
