Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is not sure if Russian President Vladimir Putin is alive. He was speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Zelensky said this in response to a question about when the peace talks will begin. “Today I don’t know exactly who and what to talk about. In the online discussion, sometimes I am not even sure if the person who appears on the opposite side of the green screen is the President of Russia. I don’t know if he is alive, if he is making decisions or who is making decisions there,” Zelensky said. Speaking about peace talks, Zelensky said that he does not understand exactly who it is with.
However, after this, Russia came forward with an answer to Zelenskiy. “It is very clear that Ukraine and Zelenskiy are a big problem for Putin and Russia,” Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. Zelensky mentally wishes there was no Russia or Putin. Dmitri retorted that he would soon realize that Russia would last forever.
Zelensky is believed to be mocking Putin, who has been absent from public events for weeks. Putin also canceled his annual press conference in December.
