Not right after iftar.. this is the best time to exercise in Ramadan

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)–Fasting during Ramadan does not mean that we should refrain from exercising.

All you have to do is change the time you usually exercise.

And if you think that the best time to exercise in the month of Ramadan is immediately following breaking the fast, that is not true, according to what the official account of the Omani Ministry of Health stated in a tweet on “Twitter”.

The best time to exercise during Ramadan is immediately before breaking the fast, or two or three hours following breaking the fast.

And you should not exercise immediately following breakfast because all the body’s energy at that time is directed towards the digestion process.

Doing physical activity while the digestive system is busy with digestion may lead to disturbances in this system, which may lead to vomiting.

It is advised to end any physical activity immediately if you feel dizzy or nauseous at any time.
