Spokesperson for Kaesang Pangarep, Francine Widjojo, corrected the statement of the Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the Corruption Eradication Committee, Pahala Nainggolan, regarding the contents of the private jet passengers used by Kaesang Pangarep and his wife, Erina Gudono to the United States (US).
According to Francine, the information that the private jet was only filled with four people is wrong. Because, there was a friend of Kaesang who was also the owner of the plane who was on the flight to the US. So the total number is 8 people.
“There were 8 passengers on the plane. 4 people from the plane owner; and 4 people from Mas Kaesang. They left together from Jakarta to America,” Francine said in a statement received on Wednesday (18/9).
The presence of the private jet owner on the flight, he continued, also ensured that Kaesang’s hitchhiking to the US was valid.
“It’s true that Mas Kaesang hitched a ride on his friend’s private plane. So don’t speculate without confirming with the KPK,” Francine explained.
He added that when returning to Indonesia, Kaesang and Erina used a commercial plane.
“Mas Kaesang returned home on a commercial plane,” he said firmly.
Previously reported, KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring, Pahala Nainggolan said there were four people on the private jet involved. They are Kaesang, Erina Gudono, Erina’s sister, and staff. (Sru/P-2)
