PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) continues to strengthen its position in the digital banking industry through the launch of its latest application, wondr by BNI. Since its launch on July 5, 2024, the application has been downloaded more than two million times.
BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar said the extraordinary public acceptance of Wondr by BNI reflects the success of the company’s digital transformation strategy.
“We are very grateful for the positive response from the public to wondr by BNI. As of August 18, 2024, this application has been downloaded more than 2 million times, and shows an increase in the proportion of active users making transactions of up to 200% compared to the previous BNI Mobile Banking,” said Royke in a written statement, Sunday (25/8).
He explained that wondr by BNI was designed with innovation and the latest technology in mind. The application offers three main financial dimensions, namely Insights, Transactionsand Growth designed to help users plan and manage their finances better. In addition, the application also provides convenience for users to achieve future financial goals through a variety of investment product options.
Royke also added that Wonder by BNI is projected to become game changer for companies and the banking industry in Indonesia.
“The development of wondr by BNI will not stop here. We will continue to develop this application into a super app with more features and financial solutions that are suitable for families and the SME ecosystem,” said Royke.
As part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy, BNI also recorded solid performance growth in the first semester of 2024. With a consolidated net profit achievement of IDR 10.7 trillion, growing 3.8% annually (YoY).
