Not accepting being fired by the PDIP because he was accused of inflating votes, the former candidate for member of the DPR RI elected from the Banten I electoral district (Dapil) Tia Rahmania filed a lawsuit at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN).
As a result of this dismissal, Tia Rahmania was canceled from being appointed as a member of the DPR RI for the 2024-2029 period and her position was replaced by the second highest vote winner, namely Bonnie Triyana.
“A lawsuit has been registered at the Central Jakarta District Court,” said Tia’s attorney, Jupriyanto Purba, Thursday (26/9).
According to Jupriyanto, the parties being sued were the PDIP Party Court and DPR RI candidate Bonnie Triyana who was appointed as Tia’s replacement. Apart from that, the DPP PDIP, Bawaslu, KPU RI and Mochamad Hasbi Asyidiki Jayabaya as the Legislative Candidate whose vote was said to have been taken by Tia, were also sued.
“Currently, the lawsuit has been registered at number 603/Pdt.Sus-Parpol/2024/PN Jkt.Pst,” he said.
Jupriyanto added that his party together with Tia also planned to make a police report regarding the accusation of vote inflating.
“Now we are preparing a police report to the National Police Headquarters regarding accusations against Mrs. Tia of taking action or taking the vote of Mochamad Hasbi Asyidiki Jayabaya. “That is an accusation, a slander that attacks my client’s honor and dignity,” he said. (J-2)
