Norwegian footballer Aitzaz Hussain got Pakistani passport

The good news for Pakistan regarding the FIFA World Cup qualifiers to be held in March this year is that Norwegian player Aitzaz Hussain has been given a Pakistani passport.

Aitzaz is now eligible to play for the Pakistan national team, which is preparing for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March.

Aitzaz is believed to be one of the fittest players to represent Pakistan and will give the team much-needed confidence ahead of an important schedule.

The 30-year-old currently represents Apollon Limassol FC in the Cyprus League. He has previously represented Molde FK in Norway, alongside Erling Haaland, who represents UEFA Champions League winners Manchester City.

According to experts, Aitzaz’s inclusion in the Pakistan national team will fill the void in the football field, which Rahees Nabi and Alamgir Ghazi were handling with skill. He will help solve the defensive midfield problem in the team.

Pakistan’s next match is on March 21 when the Green Shirts host Jordan. Later on March 26, the team will play in Jordan. Pakistan has qualified for the second round of FIFA World Cup qualifying for the first time in its history.

Pakistan had earlier defeated Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan 4-0 and 6-1 respectively.
