Northern Jutland rich man attracts attention from abroad

Here, he has poured his love into eight buildings that he has a keen eye for – and one of them is in North Jutland.

It is written by TV 2.

It concerns Villa Gug, which was designed by the architectural firm BIG for the Danish entrepreneur Mads Peter Veiby, who is, among other things, the co-founder of Spilnu A/S.

The house is built around his great passion, which is cars.

The property has almost 300 square meters of living space and a 700 square meter garage.

– The house is inspired by a toy race track and has a garden in the middle of the building. At the low end of the house there is a showroom for the owner’s collection of cars, and at the opposite high end of the house there is a terrace with a view of nature, reads the description.

For 12 seasons, George Clarke has gradually traveled around – especially in England – to find special buildings, which he shows in “George Clarke’s amazing spaces” – or “Imaginative spaces”, as it is called on TV2.

The broadcast with the North Jutland style airs on Flow TV on August 30, but is already available on TV 2 Play.

Another selected house is the Snail House in Thyborøn, which is decorated with thousands of shells, snail shells and conch shells – a house that was built by the old fisherman Alfred Pedersen.

According to TV 2, he started on the house in 1949, but did not finish until 1974 – and he did it as a declaration of love to his wife.
