Kim A-ra, a former North Korean defector and broadcaster, is getting married today (28th).
On this day, Ara Kim and her husband-to-be tie the knot somewhere in Seoul with the blessings of their families, relatives, and acquaintances. His bride-to-be is a non-celebrity, and it is known that they met at church and formed a relationship.
Previously, Kim Ara said in September, “I want to let everyone who has watched and supported me for a long time enjoy this happy news together.
“Please give us lots of congratulations and we will raise a beautiful family,” he said, directly announcing the marriage news.
Kim A-ra, born in 1991, attracted attention for her pretty appearance, resembling Chinese actress Fan Bingbing.
He defected to China in 2003 and entered South Korea with his mother in 2009. He made his face known by appearing on Channel A’s entertainment show ‘Now I’m Going to Meet You’, which featured beautiful North Korean defectors in 2011, and ‘Let’s Live Well’ in 2015.
Afterwards, he turned to an actor and appeared in the web drama ‘Acquaintance’, tvN’s ‘Dirty Lady’ Season 16, MBC’s ‘The Great Tempter’, the web drama ‘No Work Today’, and tvN’s ‘Crash Landing on You’.
