On the morning of the 12th, North Korea self-disclosed that there was a confirmed case of Corona.

The Chosun Central News Agency reported that it was confirmed to be an Omicron mutation.

The number of confirmed cases is not accurate, but it seems that there are several as many as ‘fever’.

It is observed that North Korea announced its first confirmed case because it was difficult to keep it private any longer.

In fact, it is known that the North Korean authorities hurriedly sent the Pyongyang residents home the followingnoon before and imposed a lockdown yesterday as well.

North Korea did not report the infection to the World Health Organization (WHO) until last month.

North Korea has rejected all vaccines offered by the international community.

In a recent interview with JTBC, Kovax, an international vaccine supply consultative body, confirmed that “there is currently no promise to provide any quantity with North Korea.”

Kovax said it would only consider reassignment if North Korea decides to start vaccinating.
