North Korea fired a short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) into the West Sea on the 9th, the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the South Korean military captured one SRBM launched in the direction of the West Sea from Nampo, North Korea, at around 6:20 pm (Korean Peninsula time) that day.
