On Saturday, North Korea condemned the statements of a senior official in the White House regarding “Pyongyang’s capabilities in the field of cyber attacks”, and said that it “will continue to confront US aggression once morest it.”

A State Department spokesman said describing North Korea as a “group of criminals” revealed the true face of Washington’s anti-North Korea policy.

Ann Neuberger, the US deputy national security adviser for electronic technology and emerging technology, said Wednesday that the North Koreans are “a criminal gang in the form of a state that seeks to make money,” he said.

“The US administration has finally revealed the true picture of its most aggressive policy, which was hidden under the cover of dialogue without restrictions and diplomatic engagement,” the North’s Korean Central News Agency quoted a foreign ministry spokesman as saying.

“In a similar way, North Korea will confront the United States, which is the only group of criminals in the world,” the spokesman added.
