North Dakota State Laboratory Groundbreaking Ceremony with Gov. Burgum and Officials – Live Stream on Facebook

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum will lead the groundbreaking ceremony for the new North Dakota State Laboratory on Tuesday, April 16, on the Capitol grounds. Joining him will be Lt. Gov. Tammy Miller, who chairs the North Dakota State Laboratory Steering Committee and the Capitol Grounds Planning Commission, as well as state legislators, cabinet members and leadership from North Dakota Health and Human Services and the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality.

Burgum, Miller, Health and Human Services Commissioner Wayne Salter, State Health Officer Dr. Nizar Wehbi and Environmental Quality Director David Glatt will be among those delivering remarks.

WHEN: 11 a.m. CT Tuesday, April 16

WHERE: Northeast parking lot, North Dakota State Capitol, 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck.

Beginning at 1 p.m. Monday, April 15, a segment of the road adjacent to the northeast parking lot will be closed until further notice as construction of the new North Dakota State Laboratory begins – see attached map.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be livestreamed on the governor’s Facebook page.
