North Carolina Lt. Governor, Mark Robinsonconfirmed his candidacy for governor in the elections scheduled for November, after the publication by the television network “Cnn” of alleged derogatory comments that he wrote in the chat of a pornographic site more than 10 years ago.
The Republican lieutenant governor anticipated the publication of the rumors by publishing a video on Josh Stein, for having defamed him by sharing the alleged comments on CNN. “Let me assure you that what you will see in this story, the words that you will read, are not the words of Mark Robinson,” the candidate said, referring to himself. “You know my words, as well as my character. Throughout this campaign and before, I have been completely transparent. I will continue the campaign, I am here to win,” said the lieutenant governor.
According to rumours spread by CNN, more than 10 years ago Robinson, an African-American, would have defined himself as “a black Nazi” and would have hoped for the reintroduction of slavery. The comments seem to date back to the period between 2008 and 2012, before the start of Robinson’s political career, and were written in the chat room of the “Nude Africa” website by a profile called “minisoldr”, which the broadcaster has linked precisely to the current lieutenant governor of North Carolina.
