Norne Securities will analyze the results of Ignitis Group, provide forecasts Business

However, among the risks arising for the Ignitis Group, the bank names falling electricity prices, market regulation, mandatory investments in fixed assets and an increase in profit taxes.

Norne Securities also draws attention to the gap between the electricity produced in 2023 (1.2 TWh) and consumer demand (6.7 TWh), which will have to be covered by new capacities of renewable resources.

The bank Ignitis Group, which provides securities analysis, brokerage, share and fund trading services, was added to the list of analyzed companies at its request and published an initial report, the group announced on Wednesday.

According to Jonas Rimavičius, a member of the Ignitis Group’s board and head of finance, since 2020 the number of shareholders of the group has increased more than three times from the current number of more than 20,000.

“With the trust of a rapidly growing number of retail investors, we aim to provide them with even more quality and objective information regarding the group’s performance and outlook. We also hope that the analyzes carried out by the Scandinavian company will increase the interest of institutional investors in this region in the group”, said J. Rimavičius in the report.

According to Ignitis Group, it is the first issuer from Lithuania whose analysis was performed by Norne Securities.

Prepared by Bank of Norway, the report provides insights into the group’s performance, potential, forecasts and valuation. Norne Securities will publish updated information quarterly, all reports will be publicly available on the Ignitis Group website.

The Ministry of Finance owns 74.99 percent. Minor shareholders – 25.01 percent of Ignitis grupė shares.
