Acquired as part of an Inserm research project, the mammobile ends its journey started in March 2022 in Seine-Maritime. Property of the departmental councils of Calvados, Eure, Manche and Seine-Maritime , this vehicle was converted into a mammography center at a cost of 660,000 euros. A study is underway to measure whether or not this type of equipment reduces social and territorial inequalities in breast cancer screening.
Expected from April, these results will determine the future of the vehicle.
