With praying hands and wildly changing facial expressions between a smile, a look at the studio sky and a worry line, Werner Kogler goes into the “ZiB 2” interview with Martin Thür. And, as usual from the Vice Chancellor and Green Party leader, the expression shows more than the confidently presented statement. His gestural feat: the left hand rotating towards the body at high speed parries criticism of the Greens’ remaining core goals. No media trainer can convey that, you can easily do it, or you’ll never learn it. But Kogler’s left can also turn outwards, only more slowly – and much more dramatically.
