The medium describes that after the cancellation of the long-standing journalistic program on Czech Television, its presenter and dramaturg Nora Fridrichová is also ending. “The explanation so far does not seem quite solid and it seems that the public has a little trouble accepting it,” Fridrichová said last Monday at an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Czech Television, which focused specifically on the cancellation of 168 hours.

According to Fridrichová, Souček praised her in the first press release, but then he and his subordinates began criticizing her and making foul and untrue arguments.

Souček defended himself by saying that Czech Television’s argumentation had not changed since July 25. At that time, the director general announced that the cancelation of the program was due to “repeated violations of binding rules in the processing of reports”, “repeated management failures” and finally the “unacceptable way of conversation” of Nora Fridrichová with former ČT employee Mark Wollner.
