NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 28th that it has converted the metaverse platform Dokdo Bus, which is being provided through a service partnership with Finger, a Fintech company, into an open beta system that anyone can participate in.

Nonghyup Bank President Kwon Jun-hak said, “As Kookmin Bank, we have prepared the Dokdo Bus to remind ourselves of the value of Dokdo and provide a differentiated customer experience.

Dokdo Bus is a metaverse platform that creates avatars on Dokdo in a virtual space and performs various quests, such as picking up trash and empty bottles and visiting Dullegil. On March 2, the pilot service for pre-registered subscribers began, and on the 7th of this month, the Dokdo Bus Provincial Citizenship NFT was issued to pre-registered subscribers of the pilot service.

Along with the open beta transition, the Nonghyup Bank Dokdo branch located inside the Dokdo Bus was also renovated as a meeting place for users to hang out together. In addition, game fun elements such as a lucky box containing items and prizes, a god of prayer that delivers a wish message to all users, and a quest to visit Dullegil have been strengthened.

Dokdo Bus is expected to officially open its service on August 15, Liberation Day, by listening to the voices of users and continuously enhancing fun elements and convenience. Nonghyup Bank plans to use the Dokdo Bus as a channel to communicate with the MZ generation and naturally promote financial products and services.
