Non-Resident Malayali Dies Due to Steam Burns: Latest News and Updates

Riyadh; A non-resident Malayali died due to fire burns while steaming. Pandaparambath Muhammad Rafi (50), a native of Kothaparam Thrissur, died. The accident happened on Wednesday night in Batha, Saudi Arabia.

Muhammad Rafi steamed in the kettle following catching a cold. He lit a gas stove and heated water in a kettle on top of it and covered his head with a blanket to catch the steam. Meanwhile, the fire spread to the blanket. As it was night time, everyone else in the room was asleep. The cause of death was burns all over the body.

His wife is Gania. Children are Rizwana Fatima, Mohammad Farhan and Mohammad Raihan. Riyadh KMCC Central Committee Vice Chairman Mahbub Cheriwalap is involved in the procedures for burying the dead body in Shumaisi Hospital in Riyadh.
