The non-profit developers will build around 16,100 residential units this year; this number will still be around the ten-year average. But a significant decline is expected as early as 2024; only a little more than 13,000 non-profit apartments are expected to be built next year – most with, but some without, housing subsidies, i.e. privately financed.
