MESAGNE – The gym was in the centre, well attended. It’s a shame that some aspects within it “didn’t add up”, including the presence of anabolics believed to be of unclear origin. Suspended activity and four complaints: this is the balance of the work carried out yesterday, Tuesday 15 October 2024, by the carabinieri of the local station and by the local police officers, in Mesagne.
Military and agents noticed several irregularities inside the gym. First of all, the premises: it would be registered with an intended use not compatible with the activity that regularly took place inside. In short, a weight room that couldn’t be such. Furthermore, some artefacts had been created or otherwise moved without the necessary authorisations, the agents led by Commander Antonio Ciracì contested.
As mentioned, four people were reported to the judiciary by the carabinieri, led by commander Luigi D’Oria. Some anabolics were found, evidently used inside the gym, which did not convince the military, who were doubtful about their origin. At the end of the activities, the gym was closed and the restoration of the state of the premises was ordered. The chemicals were seized. Furthermore, the investigations continue thanks to further investigative ideas.
