The management technology company for industries, Nomus, and the Faculty of Social and Agrarian Sciences of Itapeva (FAIT), sign a partnership to develop the Production Management in Practice (GPP) program with students graduating in Administration, in the discipline of Systems of Management Information during the current semester.
The objective of the initiative is to offer an opportunity to practice concepts worked on in the classroom within a real ERP system, a business management tool, simulating the routines of an industry. Through the execution of small tasks, students will experience processes such as product engineering registration, stock handling, production order issuance and notes.
“By participating in the GPP, university students can have a closer view of the market’s reality, complementing the literature worked on in the classroom, which enhances learning and gives more maturity to the professional who is graduating”, highlighted professor Alecsandra Ferreira.
In addition to access to the Nomus ERP Industrial system, students also attended a lecture by the company’s specialist, Thiago Leão, on how knowledge in ERP can enhance their careers, and also received access to Nomus University, a distance learning platform which hosts the video lessons, guidance and support for carrying out the activities proposed in the program.
“We know that, for most students, it is the first time they have the opportunity to see and work with an ERP system like this. This contributes to a broader vision and better learning, which is relevant, since it is the type of tool that they will probably come across when they arrive to work in a real company”, highlighted Thiago.
