Nokia 2720 and Nokia 800 have been launched in China, one is a flip phone while the other is a rugged phone designed to work in harsh conditions.
Nokia 800
The Nokia 800 is designed to be used in harsh conditions and is touted by the company as a rugged phone.
With an IPS 68 waterproof and dustproof rating, the phone can be submerged in up to one and a half meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
The body of the phone is such that if it falls from the hand, there will be no significant damage, especially if it is dropped on concrete from a height of 1.8 meters.
According to the company, the phone can be used in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius and is protected by a special rubber cover on the sides and corners.
The Forge phone has VoLTE support, a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash, and an app store.
Nokia 2720
The Nokia 2720 is a dual-screen flip phone that can be described as a modern version of the feature phones of yesteryear.
It has a 2.8-inch QVGA screen for the main display, while the secondary screen is 1.3 inches on the outside.
The T9 physical keyboard comes with GPS support while the Kai app store is present.
With Wi-Fi and LTE support, this phone can also share Wi-Fi hotspots.
Single and Dual SIM 2 versions will be available to the users with a 2 megapixel camera with flash while there is 4 GB of storage which can be expanded via SD card.
These two phones will be available in China from December 30, of which the Nokia 800 is priced at 899 Chinese Yuan (over 19,000 Pakistani Rupees) while the Nokia 2720 flip phone is priced at 599 Yuan (over 13,000 Pakistani Rupees).
