Nokia C22, Nokia C32 and Nokia G22, three entry-level smartphones with green thinking

HMD Global, holder of the operating license for the Nokia brand, has just announced the marketing of three new entry-level smartphones. These are the Nokia C22, Nokia C32 and Nokia G22 offering great autonomy and a certain durability, according to its manufacturer. Here are all the details.

Nokia will take advantage of the Mobile World Congress show which takes place in Barcelona to exhibit its three new smartphones. These are the Nokia C22, Nokia C32 et Nokia G22. For the occasion, HMG Global announces the start of manufacturing of its products in Europe. The Nokia G22 has been designed to be easily repairable. The brand has collaborated with iFixitthe community of repairers so that everyone can access repair guides and affordable spare parts to replace a damaged screen, a deformed USB-C port or to change the battery. The device has a 100% recycled plastic back cover. It comes with 3 years of security updates, 2 years of system updates and 3 years of warranty.

Which technical sheet for the Nokia G22?

Technically, the Nokia G22 smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T606 chip with 4 GB of RAM et 2 GB virtual RAM additional, if applicable. It embeds an easily changeable battery with a capacity of 5050 mAh supporting 20 watt fast charging. It is equipped with a 6.5 inch LCD screen displaying a definition of 720×1600 pixels with a maximum frequency of 90 Hz. The device is compatible 4G and WiFi 5. It supports NFC technology and offers a fingerprint reader on the profile. The Nokia G22 is IP52 certified so it can resist splashes. On the back there are three photo sensors with a 50 megapixel main module et two 2-megapixel sensorsone dealing with macro shots and the other with optimizing portraits.

The Nokia measures 165×76.2mm with a profile of 8.48mm and a weight of 196 grams. It is marketed in gray or blue with two configurations of 4+64 GB or 4+128 GB for a starting price of €179. Very similar configurations for the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32

The Nokia C32 and the Nokia C22 have a lot of similarities. They have exactly the same dimensions. The Nokia C22 weighs 190 grams against 199 grams for the Nokia C32. Both are driven by same Unisoc 9863A1 chip with 2 or 3 GB of RAM not including the additional 2 GB of virtual RAM, if necessary, for the Nokia C22 and with 3 or 4 GB of RAM + 3 GB of additional virtual RAM.

Both smartphones offer 64 GB of storage memory with the possibility of inserting a memory card. They embark a 5000 mAh capacity battery supporting the load at 10 watts. Their screens are identical.
