A Serb and his son wanted to discuss an “old story” with a Bosnian bar owner: in the end, four people were injured and one was reported as being at large.
On Sunday night, a dispute between the host and his guests escalated around three in the morning in a Walser nightclub. According to the police, a guest, a 41-year-old Serb, and his son (16) wanted to ask the Bosnian restaurant owner (46) to talk regarding an “old story”. According to the Serb, the local owner hit him several times with a pole. The son wanted to rush to his father’s help and, according to the police, stabbed the local owner in the stomach with a knife. Father and son fled. The local owner was taken to the hospital by the emergency doctor following first aid, but is out of danger. The 41-year-old Serb was taken to Salzburg Regional Hospital with injuries of an unspecified degree. The police were later able to arrest the 16-year-old at his home address in the city of Salzburg. He has not confessed and was reported at large. He was also injured in the course of the argument – as was a 27-year-old bouncer from Bavaria.
