Nobody Wants to Die, the new story in pure noir style from Critial Hit Games y PLAION is now available for players on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
This new installment is a thrilling narrative adventure inspired by neo-noir cinema that takes place in the futuristic city of New York. In the role of Detective James Karra, the player investigates crime scenes using time manipulation and advanced technology to discover clues and unmask a killer in an era where death is a thing of the past and the dangers of transhumanism are common.
“From the very beginning, we wanted to create a visually spectacular narrative game,” says Grzegorz Goleń, CEO and Lead Designer at Critical Hit Games. “Our small, passionate and experienced team has used Unreal Engine 5 to create an incredibly realistic environment and world. We can’t wait for players to lose themselves in the sci-fi world of Nobody Wants to Die.”
“We wanted to create a thought-provoking narrative for our players,” says Marcin Grembowicz, lead writer at Critical Hit Games. “We created the world of Nobody Wants to Die by introducing a single metaphysical change: the possibility of consciousness transfer. To inspire players to reflect on contemporary values, the rules of the world, and what is important in life. We really tried to create an elevated experience for our players.”
The game features a soundtrack composed by award-winning composer Mikolai Stroinski, who has previously composed for The Witcher 3, Diablo Immortal, League of Legends and Age of Empires 4, among others.
