Noah Vonleh has agreed with Boston on a one-year contract, Woj said. It’s probably an invitation for the training camp (contract not guaranteed), and the interior will therefore have to prove itself to try to integrate the regular season roster. At 26, the 2.08 winger has already been around a lot in the NBA. 9th pick in the 2014 draft, he started his career in Charlotte, before moving to Portland, then Chicago, New York, Minnesota and Denver.
We haven’t seen him in the NBA since his 4 games with the Nets during the 2020-21 season. In career (339 games played) his averages are 4.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 16.8 minutes. He is coming off a year in China with the Shanghai Sharks, where he averaged 14.3 points and 9.1 rebounds.
If the return to the NBA doesn’t work out, he already has an offer from the Guangdong Southern Tigers on hand.
Free agent F Noah Vonleh has agreed to a one-year deal with the Boston Celtics, source tells ESPN. Vonleh will go to training camp with the hopes of making the roster.
