“No surrender” –

Three sons of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh have been killed in an Israeli raid on the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City. In addition to the three sons – Hazem, Amir and Mohammed – at least four of Haniyeh’s grandchildren also died: all were killed by a missile that hit the car in which they were traveling while they were on their way to the refugee camp to go and celebrate the Eid al Fitr, the celebration that concludes Ramadan, together with some relatives.

“I thank God for this honor that he has granted me with the martyrdom of my three children and some grandchildren”, the words of the head of the political office of Hamas to al-Jazeera, who confirmed the death of his family members in an Israeli raid on Gaza. Stressing that her children “remained with our people in the Gaza Strip and did not leave” the enclave, Haniyeh – who has long lived in Qatar – said that “all families in Gaza have paid a heavy price with the blood of their children, and I am one of them. With this pain and blood we create hope, a future and freedom for our people, our cause and our nation. There is no doubt that this criminal enemy is driven by the spirit of revenge, murder and bloodshed, and does not observe any standards or laws. We have seen him violate everything in the land of Gaza, it is ethnic cleansing, genocide and mass displacement.”

«The killing of my children does not change Hamas’s call for a ceasefire. We will not compromise and we will not give up, no matter how great our sacrifices must be. We will not submit to the blackmail practiced by the occupation because the people who surrender will not be spared”, concluded the Palestinian terrorist leader, who explained that 60 members of his family have been killed since the start of the war.
