No preferential treatment!Beckham queues for 12 bells to mourn Queen

[Now Sports]Former England captain David Beckham went to Westminster Abbey on Friday to pay his respects to the Queen, queuing like ordinary people for up to 12 hours. Queen Elizabeth II passed away last Thursday. The coffin was escorted by members of the royal family and moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey for the British public to pay their respects until the state funeral next Monday. A large number of people came to pay their respects. The crowd is endless.

Former England captain David Beckham was spotted in the crowd on Friday, arriving at 2am like the common man, queuing up to 12 hours to get in to pay the Queen’s final salute. Looking at the coffin of the Queen of England, the 47-year-old was very moved and his eyes filled with tears.

The heartthrob said: “Her Majesty means so much in so many different ways. I’ve always wanted to represent my country and be the captain of my national team. Every time we stand there wearing the Three Lions jersey, singing Writing ‘God Save the Queen’ means a lot to us. I’ve been lucky enough to be by her side several times. It’s a sad day, but a day to remember.”
