No plans to raise fuel prices: Kuwait with announcement

Kuwait City: Kuwait has no plans to raise fuel prices. This was informed by the Government Subsidy Review Committee. The committee informed that the recommendation of the international financial agencies will not be implemented and fuel price increase is not on the agenda.

Kuwait has one of the lowest fuel prices in the world. International financial agencies had suggested that Kuwait should raise fuel prices to cover the budget deficit. However, Kuwait’s position is not to accept this proposal for the time being.
