Fans of the Capcom series will have to be patient to discover the next part of the saga.
Capcom has almost made it a habit. Every year, it offered a new part of its Resident Evil saga, alternating between new opuses and remakes. Fans have thus been treated in recent years to the remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4, as well as the new Resident Evil 7 and 8. And probably the series should not stop there since Capcom is already working on a ninth opus.
The surprise, for fans, will undoubtedly come from the fact that in 2024, Capcom will not release any other Resident Evil. According to leaker Dusk Golem, author of several leaks, Capcom has only planned one very big game for 2024. And it is very likely that it will be the new Monster Hunter. Resident Evil 9 would be released in 2025.
However, this does not mean that we will not hear regarding Resident Evil in 2024 since, as the leaker reveals, it is possible and even probable that Capcom will reveal its game next year.
