no mystery, it’s the best

Exactly one year following the release of his Enigma, Lelo is back with an evolution of his double stimulator, this time in a version equipped with Cruise Control technology.

Rather than having to choose between external and internal clitoral stimulation, more and more brands now offer sex toys capable of performing on all fronts. On the Wow Tech side, the Womanizer Duo has been playing the role since 2019. For Lelo, we had to wait until last year to discover the Enigma, which returns this year in a new improved version, equipped with Cruise Control technology. Behind its alien design, does the device make us take off? We do the test.

Design and ergonomics: we call it the UFO

Delivered in its elegant black box, the Lelo Enigma Cruise opts for a design feature for feature similar to the initial model. The brand has for some years already chosen not to differentiate the evolutions of its products, which does not help the readability of the catalog.

However, the Enigma Cruise stands out. First by its curves: with its question mark shape, the device questions, and does not look like anything that exists on the market. Offered in a black or pink all-silicone coating and surmounted by an imposing chrome ABS plastic plate, the sex toy does not really rely on discretionand does not go unnoticed.

On closer inspection, however, we realize that the forms of the Enigma Cruise are not totally unknown: the Swedish brand is very much inspired by its contactless stimulator. Sona 2to add a flexible branch dedicated to internal stimulation of the G-zone. On the sidelines of its penetrating part of 14 cm and 3.5 cm in diameter, there is thus a hollow head, designed to stimulate the 8000 nerve endings of the external clitoris thanks to its technologie SenSonic signature.

As on all Lelo products, there are three control buttons on the device: while the center one allows powering, the (+) and (-) provide navigation between intensities and modes. At this level, nothing new: Lelo has established itself for years as a champion of ergonomics, and nothing is left to chance: the buttons are positioned perfectly under the fingers, and the brand pushes the sense of detail to ensure that the (+) appears at the top of the sex toy when it is used. It may be a detail, but it is in fact rarely the case with the competition, which persists in reversing the controls. We also appreciate the ability to lock the deviceideal for take it on vacation or avoid an impromptu start in a bag.

If the particular design of the Enigma Cruise may surprise, it shines as much by its originality as its finishes. More than ever, Lelo assumes its high-end positioning, and justifies its price: at more than 200€, the sex toy borders on perfection. It remains to be seen if it is really effective.

Double stimulation: watch your eyes

With its flexible arm designed to stimulate the G-zone, the Lelo Enigma Cruise succeeds where many others fail, by offering a double stimulation efficace, able to adapt to most morphologies. Because it is often on this point that things get complicated: each body is different, and it is often difficult to succeed in creating a device flexible enough to suit the greatest number, while remaining rigid enough to allow effective internal stimulation. . Here, it’s flawless, the internal branch of the Enigma Cruise finds its place perfectly once inserted. Its design has definitely not been left to chance, to the point of allowing hands-free use.

Who says double stimulation logically says double motor. While the outer part of the Enigma Cruise delivers powerful non-contact SenSonic waves, the inner part delivers powerful low frequency vibrations. Surprisingly enough, Lelo did not see fit to opt for separate orders. It is therefore impossible to start the two motors independently. to focus only on internal or external stimulation. On this point, we understand Lelo’s ambition to offer complete stimulation of the internal (G area) and external clitoris, especially since the result is particularly conclusive. However, at €219, we would probably have preferred a little more versatility.

In use, the Enigma Cruise may impose itself as one of the best sex toys we have ever tested. Usable without hands, its efficiency is formidable, and this is also one of the only points that we might reproach it for: unlike the Sila Cruise, who advocated letting go and slowing down, Lelo’s double stimulator goes straight to the point. The eight vibration modes of the device ensure orgasms in seconds for sensations as deep as they are intense.

Be careful though: if it is undeniably very effective, we do not recommend it for a first sex toy. First, because its flexible branch may not be huge, but it can be impressive, even with a good dose of lubricant. Then because as we said above, the Enigma Cruise goes straight to the point, and will probably not be suitable for the most sensitive clitoris.

Cruise Control: the detail that changes everything

Cruise Control technology is not new to Lelo, since it is already found on the new generations of Sona and Sila stimulators. Far from being anecdotal, the functionality makes it possible to “to curb” l’Enigma one reserving 20% more power at the moment of orgasm. Concretely, the excess intensity is triggered when the device is firmly pressed once morest the body. The insurance promises the mark, of an orgasm without loss of speed.

Note, however, that if the combined technologies of the Enigma Cruise make it a rather incredible sex toy, it is still more designed for solo use. Contrary to most non-contact stimulatorsLelo’s double sex toy leaves little room for a potential partner.
